That is exactly who we are, Lutheran-Christians. Just as you have a first and last name, so we also can be described by that dual name. First and foremost, we are Christians, and so are part of the worldwide Body of Christ. Our part of the Christian family is the Lutheran expression. We trust that we have been made right with God by Grace for Christ's sake. This focuses our faith on Christ's all sufficent death on the cross and resurrection on Easter.
As Christians, we are called together as a community of believers to learn of God's love and his saving acts through His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. It is through the church that we discover our purpose in life as we share the story of God's love and salvation with all of God's people.
